The Chinese from Tencent bought the creators of League of Legends, the Japanese company COLOPL created a $50 million fund for VR developers, and a book was published on the game Five Nights at Freddy’s.
The Chinese holding company Tencent has completely bought out the authors of League of Legends – Riot Games studio. There will be no special changes, no one is going to be fired yet. The Chinese acquired most of the shares of the California studio back in 2011.
Japanese studio COLOPL has created a fund for VR developers. The volume is $50 million. The money is planned to be invested in the creation of VR games, software and devices for virtual reality.
Based on the series of horror stories Five Nights at Freddy’s, a book has been published. The authors are the creator of the game Scott Cawthon (Scott Cawthon) and writer Kira Breed-Wisley (Kira Breed-Wisley).
