Last week in Busan, one of the largest cities in South Korea, the WN Connect event took place. Here are the highlights.
Over 400 people from around the world applied to participate in WN Connect in Busan. Half of them, precisely 51%, were top managers and company owners. Another significant group, 42%, consisted of business development and sales managers.

As for companies, 160 gaming businesses were represented at the event.
Registered companies at the event included Xsolla, Nexon, Gaijin Entertainment, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Gameloft, Unity Technologies, PUBG Studios, BiliBili, and many others.
The key partner of the event was Meridian Play, which specializes in helping gaming businesses find publishers, attract funding, and prepare investment agreements.
Recall that WN Connect events are generally small gatherings of 200-300 people, where participants meet in a relaxed setting to share experiences and insights and discuss the latest news in the gaming industry.
For WN Media Group, this was the first such event held in South Korea. The next WN Connect will take place next year in Spain—on February 27 in Barcelona.
