On October 16-17, the White Nights conference was held in Moscow. During these two days, 1,500 participants visited it — 200 more people than a year earlier.

Traditionally, both representatives of large companies and indie developers gathered at the business conference. More than 60 speakers gave lectures for the visitors. On the very first day, experts from companies such as Voodoo, TikTok, Facebook and MyTona made presentations. On the second day, Google, G5 Entertainment, MysteryTag and App Annie shared their insights.

Participants from 12 countries presented their projects at the developers’ exhibition. They also managed to meet with a dozen major publishers at the Publisher Pavilion. This pavilion was created specifically for communication with market experts and business meetings.

In conclusion, White Nights specialists from Wooga, Rovio, Owl Studio and Pixonic dismantled four games from the developers’ exhibition and chose the best one. It became a mobile adventure game Tiny Money from Dora Bar (Dor Bar) and Shachar Peters (Shachar Peters).

In addition, the HR Awards, dedicated to recruiting in game development, was held for the first time as part of the conference. Its winners were employees from MyTona, Awem and Crazy Panda. Recall that the award is planned to be made annual.

The next White Nights is scheduled for January 23-24, 2020. It will be held in Amsterdam. You can register for it right now.

But even before that, on November 23, 2019, the Talents in Games conference will be held in Minsk for the first time. Ticket sales for it are already open.
