In mid-December, the capital of the United Arab Emirates hosted a summit for top gaming industry executives — the WN C-Level Summit.

The event was attended by 105 people from various countries around the world. The overwhelming majority of them—91%—were owners, founders, and chief executives.

A total of 70 companies associated with the gaming industry were represented. More than half of them—54%—are involved in game development and publishing. Additionally, a number of participating companies are service providers (20%), advertising agencies (16%), or investment organizations (16%).

Among the investors, notably, were professionals from GEM Capital, Games Ventures, and Triple Dragon Limited. The event also saw participation from significant figures from Google, Ubisoft, Apple, Snap Inc., Oracle, Meta*, Utmost Games, Yandex Games, Mundfish, The Sandbox, and many other companies.

The key sponsors of the event were the international fintech platform Xsolla, the VR startup CleverPoint, the consulting agency SOTA, and the studio Redhill Games.

The summit was held under the patronage of the local Department of Culture and Tourism, which oversees the Abu Dhabi Gaming (AD Gaming) initiative. The project aims to transform this MENA region into an international gaming hub.

WN Media Group will return to the UAE in February with a larger event. It will be a conference for developers and publishers— WN Conference Abu Dhabi’25.
