Exactly one week from now, the organizers of the WN Conference will host a collaboration with ChinaJoy, the largest gaming exhibition in Asia. On July 25 in Shanghai, the industry event WN x ChinaJoy International Summit will take place. We share the details of the event and program in our material.

The event will be part of ChinaJoy, which will be held from July 25 to 29. It will start at 1:00 PM and last until 5:00 PM (China Standard Time, GMT+8).

WN x ChinaJoy International Summit Shanghai '24 aims to foster communication between the Chinese and international game development communities. Participants will be able to share experiences and form partnerships.

During their presentations, event speakers will discuss game publishing, investments, game analytics, working with artificial intelligence, and much more. The planned duration of each speech is 25-30 minutes.

Below, we have highlighted some program points.

  • Vice President of Niko Partners Xiaofeng Zeng will give a talk on the topic "750 Million Reasons to Explore the Chinese Gaming Market".
  • MY.GAMES Project Manager Lana Bokay-Poltavets will share how Pixonic obtained a license to publish the mobile game War Robots in China, the challenges faced by the team, and how the game was adapted to the Chinese market.
  • Cherry Chen, co-founder of the Chinese studio Esigame, will share insights on working with mini-games on the WeChat and Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) platforms.

Other speakers include veteran mobile developer Wenfeng Yang, head of the Supersonic publishing team in the Asia-Pacific region and Southeast Asia David Wang, and founder of Tamatem Games Hussam Hammo.

Participants of WN x ChinaJoy International Summit Shanghai '24 will also have access to the WN Hub platform, through which they can communicate with event guests throughout the entire ChinaJoy exhibition.
