On July 11, the conference "Gaming Industry" debuted in St. Petersburg with the support of App2Top. Representatives from companies such as VK, Astrum Entertainment, Cyberia Nova, HeroCraft, Lesta Games, Overmobile, and many others attended the event.
According to the organizers, a total of 354 gaming industry-related companies participated in the event (you can view the report here). Of these, 78% were developers/publishers, and 24% were service providers.

Additionally, it was reported that 606 people attended the conference. The number of attendees exceeded the organizers' expectations. Initially, it was anticipated that there would be around 500 people. Nearly half of the participants (48%) were company executives. The second-largest group, 38%, were direct developers.

During the conference, a large-scale developers' exhibition took place. A total of 167 applications were submitted by indie teams from all over Russia for participation in the exhibition.
Judging by the exhibition, Unity remains the most popular engine, with 61% of the games submitted developed on it. The most represented genres at the exhibition were action (44%), adventure (35%), casual games (23%), RPGs (22%), and shooters (21%). Most of the games were made for PC (70%), and many projects were also created for Android (43%) and iOS (32%).

The organizers of the "Gaming Industry" conference reported that they were pleased with the results and intend to replicate the success. They plan to hold a second session in October, which will take place in Moscow.
