Less than a month remains until the "Gaming Industry" conference in the capital of Belarus, which is scheduled for April 22. Here is a preview of the event's speakers.

The conference program includes presentations, panel discussions, and workshops, traditionally held in three parallel streams. Representatives from leading Russian-speaking gaming companies, expert organizations, and platforms will take the stage.

  • Denis Pozdnyakov, co-founder of Contrast Games, will delve into the specifics of Metroidvania development. The team is expected to release the Metroidvania Akatori this year;
  • Pyotr Salnikov, co-founder of Disgusting Men and Book Burner Games, will also address the topic of sound. He will discuss the importance of quality audio design in indie games and share insights into his own studio's project, Sonic Terror;
  • Vasily Ovchinnikov, Head of the Organization for the Development of the Video Game Industry (RVI), will present data on Russian game development;

In addition to listening to speakers, the conference will include other activities such as:

  • Indie pitch — game presentations before experts with subsequent analysis. The authors of the best game will receive a million views on VK Play. Additionally, developers can win a PlayStation 5 console from Mirra Games. As with the showcase, you can apply for the indie pitch until April 17.

The Minsk session of the "Gaming Industry" will conclude with a large game development party for Premium ticket holders. It will take place at the La Scala Trattoria Ignazio restaurant, located on Nemiga Street, building 36, right in the city center.
