The organizers of the GTP Indie Cup Winter‘20 competition have opened the acceptance of applications from indie developers. The works are accepted until February 29.

Independent studios and single indie developers are allowed at the Indie Cup. They are required to have a game project at the alpha stage or higher. Games whose release took place before January 15 inclusive, as well as titles — winners of previous Indie Cup seasons are not accepted.

This season there are 10 nominations:

  • “The best PC game”;
  • “The best mobile game”;
  • “The best network game” (new nomination!);
  • “The best hyper-casual game” (new nomination!);
  • “The best art”;
  • “The best sound”;
  • “Streamers’ Choice”;
  • “Critics’ Choice”;
  • “The best game on Unreal Engine”;
  • “The best game on Unity”.

As in previous seasons, each of the nominations is judged by a separate expert jury. Game artists will choose the best art, composers will choose the best sound, and so on.

On February 29, the organizers will publish a full list of participants on their website. We add that by that time the English version of the resource will be launched for an audience from abroad.

You can apply for the contest here. Find out the detailed terms of participation here. The finalists of the GTP Indie Cup Winter‘20 will be named on April 2.

Indie Cup is an Eastern European online competition of independent games. GTP Media holds it twice a year. The current competition is already the eighth in a row. Unreal Engine, G-Core Labs and Gismart have become partners this season.
