The turnover of the mobile games market in Japan in 2018 rose to $13.3 billion. But its growth rate is decreasing.

- In 2017, mobile titles (which include application games, browser games and games for smartphones) in Japan earned $12.9 billion. Thus, in 2018, the market turnover increased by $ 400 million.
- However, from 2016 to 2017, the market grew much more significantly — by $ 1.6 billion. Even earlier, it grew by $2 billion a year.
