The growth of content consumption from mobile devices is generated by millennials. Such conclusions were reached by experts of the analytical company comScore based on the results of a study of the Russian digital market.

Millennials are those who were born between the early nineties and the mid-noughties. In this group in the Russian Federation, the share of those who access the network only from laptops and stationary PCs does not exceed 50% (as of September 2015). Only 4% use mobile phones. The main share (53%) of millennials is a cross-platform audience.

For comparison, among other age groups, the share of those who access the Internet only from PCs and laptops is 67%.

The company also claims that Russia has the most extensive computer audience in the EMEA region. As of May 2015, it had 68 million unique users per month.

In this category, the largest age group is people aged 25-44.
