Chukong Technologies, which owns CocoaChina and Punchbox, transfers the companies under its brand and officially announces the “registration of relations” with the Cocos2D cross-platform game engine.

The policy of CocoaChina and Punchbox itself will not change, but they will continue to be present on the market under the Chukong brand.

This step is part of the preparation for the international expansion of Chukong, which will begin with the company’s entry into the stock exchange in early 2014.

Chukong also announced that the free Cocos2D engine, one of the main investors of which it was previously, will take root in its corporate structure in the near future.

By this, it seems to us, it means that in the future all projects brought by Chukong to the mobile market will be developed on Cocos2D. By the way, the release of the third version of the engine will take place very soon – on October 27.

The monthly turnover of Chukong at the moment is $15 million.
