Bandai America company will release a series of electronic toys “Tamagotchi” in the USA for the 20th anniversary of the cult virtual pet simulator.
The 2017 Tamagotchi looks like a plastic egg with a pixel LCD screen. It is slightly smaller than the original and is available in 6 different colors. The device will be available from November 5 at a price of $15.
The new “Tamagotchi” will be released in a limited edition.
Since the toy’s release in 1997, Bandai America has sold more than 82 million copies of Tamagotchi worldwide.
