The latest installment from Saber Interactive boasts another achievement. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has surpassed almost all 2024 releases in Europe in terms of copies sold, reports journalist Christopher Dring from GamesIndustry, citing GSD data.

According to Dring, the only game released this year that performed better on the European market was Helldivers 2.
Dring did not provide specific figures.
Recall that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 became available to premium edition owners on September 5th, and reached its full release four days later. According to the game's developers, by September 10th, the action game's player base had exceeded 2 million people.
Later, Joost van Dreunen, founder of the analytics company Aldora, calculated that in just its debut week, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 earned $202 million—1.8 times more than all other Warhammer 40,000 games combined last year.
