The Korean publisher of mobile games has reported on the results of the first fiscal quarter of 2014. The company’s turnover from January to March amounted to $27.2 million, and net profit – $3.5 million.
The publisher’s turnover increased by 75% compared to the figures for the first quarter of last year, and net profit fell by 25%. However, compared to the figures of the fourth quarter of 2013, everything has grown at Gamevil: revenue by 24%, net profit by 28%.
Recall that in the second half of last year Gamevil acquired Com2us. It is quite possible that it is their merger that can explain the good annual turnover growth, as for the drop in profits, this is most likely a consequence of the numerous costs associated with the same event.
