Chillingo, together with Samsung, will soon launch a new program aimed at indie developers – 100% Indie. Its main task is to promote small mobile projects.
Samsung offers certain benefits to the first developers who join the program and place their games through 100% Indie. For a limited time, or rather from March 4 to September 3, 2013, 100% of the revenue from games hosted in Samsung Apps will go to their creators. Then the “interest rate” will change. From September 4, 2013 to March 3, 2014, it will be 90%, from March 4, 2014 to March 4, 2015 – 80%, and then everything will return to the 70% accepted in the industry.
Note that the organizers of the action do not insist on exclusivity. Developers are not prohibited from placing their products in other stores.
