Apple has named the best games and applications of the American App Store of the last twelve months. There were some surprises. Also, Yablochniki presented a list of the top free, paid and cash applications of 2012.
The main star of this year, according to Apple, was the Action Movie FX application from Bad Robot Interactive, which allows users to apply colorful special effects to their own videos. It was named the best iPhone apps of the year.
The non-gaming app of the year for iPad turned out to be Paper from FiftyThree. A very simple free application was specially created for quick sketches without using a pen.
Ubisoft’s Rayman Jungle Run, a mobile version (or rather, even an adaptation) of last year’s Rayman Origins console hit by Michel Ansel, was named the game of the Year on the iPhone.
The best game for iPad in 2012 was the mystical puzzle The Room from Fireproof Games.
Curiously, none of these projects entered any of the top twenty. They are slightly lower.

Yes, in the box office tops without revelations: 15 out of 20 in the box office charts for iPhone and iPad are games. The relatively low position of Clash of Clans is explained very simply: the game was released only at the end of summer. She simply has not had time to increase her capital yet, unlike the DragonVale project, which has been sitting in the top ten all year.
