Benoit Sokal will write the script for the third part of the adventures of Kate Walker. Elliot Grassiano, who managed Microïds in the early noughties, will lead the work on it. The game will become multiplatform.
French publisher Anuman Interactive, which bought Microïds (Amerzone, Syberia, Post Mortem, Still Life) three years ago, announced an agreement with Benoit Sokal to create the third part of the cult adventure game “Siberia”. The legendary artist and screenwriter will write in 2013 the continuation of the story of a young lawyer girl who followed the dream of the old mechanic Hans Voralberg to Siberia. Elliot Grassiano, who not only stood at the origins of Microïds, but also headed it in its heyday, will look after the development of the game.
He recently received the post of Vice president of the Microïds division of Anuman Interactive.
Syberia III will be a multiplatform game. Considering that Anuman has been actively publishing Microïds classics on iOS for the last year, most likely, the third part of the clock-punk saga will be made with an eye on the mobile platform.
