The release of “Fruit Country” took place on the VKontakte mobile platform

The game, like the Indie Cat, is a ported version of the social product of the same name, which is presented today not only in VKontakte, but also in Odnoklassniki and in My World.

Fruit Country can also honestly be called cross-platform, since progress is stored in the cloud: you can continue playing the mobile version from the place where you finished the session in VK on PC (the opposite is also true).

The total number of users of the social version of the game across three platforms today is about 1.6 million. DAU games in Odnoklassniki – 32 thousand people.

A significant disadvantage of the project is that the mobile version (I played on the iPhone 5S) looks, as it seemed to me, poorer and worse than the pretty “desktop” one. Considering that when comparing the screenshots, the picture turned out to be completely identical, it is difficult to say why this is so. Perhaps the point is that when creating mobile versions, it is necessary to count on the fact that the game will be played on smartphones, on which the high detail of very small objects is lost. On the other hand, it is clear that a significant change in the size of objects would entail the need to reduce the playing field. As a result, such a project could hardly become cross-platform.
