The world release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf, a turn-based tactical strategy with elements of a collectible card game, took place.
The main difference between the combat system of the novelty from those that can be observed in titles, like XCOM or Halfway, is that any action performed on a tactical map requires a corresponding card in hand: movement, attack, treatment, and so on. If there is no map, then you will have to think over a different strategy.
Working with a deck of cards is a bit similar to that in Hearthstone (we form decks of 30 cards divided into several types, trying to make the cards in the deck complement each other). The cards themselves can be improved by merging together.
The Kaliningrad team’s project can be downloaded from the App Store to owners of iPhones and iPads here. There is no Russian language. The presence of an inactive “multiplayer” button implies future support for PvP (synchronous?).
Has anyone already downloaded, tried it out, what do you think?
